Mountbakery offers a delightful selection of pastries, cookies and dessert ideal for sharing or individual dining.
We are not trying to replicate dishes that are time-honored, but rather to create an experience that nurtures the soul, inspires and delights and tantalizes the palate with superb food and drink.

The Mount Bakery was founded in or around the year 2000 by Olivier Vrambout a young Belgian
American chef and baker who had learned his craft at the knee of his Belgian grandmother. Olivier, “Oliver”,
Oli took an incredible finesse with food, combined it with the energy level of Jack Russell Terrier on espresso,
mixed in a special charm that made him easy to laugh with and determination to do everything his own way and
pretty much set a new bar for high-quality food and baked pastries in Bellingham. Simultaneously he provided
the start point for a renaissance in the neighborhood around Mount Bakery’s downtown cafe.

We never looked back. Our staff maintained and continues to carry forward the real love of quality food
made from real ingredients served with pride to what has been an ever growing and loyal group of patrons.
We’ve won awards for our food and baked items consistently worked to improve all facets of the business both
for customers and staff, expanded to the second location for our bakers in Fairhaven and now (in the Fall of 2014)
stand on the precipice of a further expansion of that shop.
